Har Ki Dun Trek

7 days     6 nights

Har Ki Dun literally stands for the Valley of Lord Shiva, Har (Shiva) & Dun (Valley). Amidst of this beautiful valley, lies the 3000 year old Har ki dun village which attracts people towards itself because of the ancient temples and villages. These isolated villages located in this peaceful valley of Har ki dun are still untouched by modern civilization.

Located in the Garhwal Himalayas of the Uttarakhand state in India, the har ki dun trek captivates the eyes of its visitors because of the tall snow clad peaks and alpine vegetation. Once you reach the destination, you will be able to catch the glimpse of the beautiful Swargarohini peak.

The legend says that Yudhistir - one of the 5 brothers of the pandavas from the mahabharata climbed this peak on his way to heaven. Har ki Dun Trek is one of the oldest treks in the valley of gods and starts from Taluka and is a week long trek.

During the trek the soothing gurgling sound of the flowing river, the chirping of birds, the green trees & the beautiful mountains will make you fall in love with nature all over again. The frequent accents & descents keeps the har ki dun adventurous and on a clear night, the stars in the sky will make you feel like you are roaming around in the galaxy and it's a fabulous experience to be there that you don’t want to miss.
